I am sorry, here I absolutely have to disagree with the idea that you can't make your own formula. Parents that did not nurse, made formula and it DID NOT harm their babies. I was one, my child was one. Condensed milk, water and karo were the ingredients. No excess sodium. No electrolyte problem. 1 can condensed milk, 10oz water, 1 tbl spoon karo. Mix well. refrigerate until needed. Then warm to skin temp before serving. Now there are a few that can't use cows milk. They also make condensed goats milk, try that. Then if there are issues find your manufactured formula. My son could not tolerate soy. That is in every formula, and I understand the vomiting issue, as we experienced it during the search for a formula that worked. That one was the condensed milk one.
