Amazon donates $ 20,000 to New Braunfels Food Bank (Herald-Zeitung)

The New Braunfels Food Bank is the beneficiary of a recent $20,000 donation from Amazon. Company officials said the donation will provide food to thousands of area residents who are food insecure or economically impacted during the outbreak. The donation also comes as food banks across the country face diminishing resources.

Coronavirus Preparedness Campaign

The San Antonio and New Braunfels Food Banks have launched a month-long coronavirus “preparedness and prevention” campaign.  The effort aims to reach as many as 300,000 low-income households in Southwest Texas with a 14-day supply of food along with a coronavirus preparedness kit.
